AUBREY' S 6th BIRTHDAY!!

Halloween was every where at Disneyland. We had a blast, of course, the weather was nice (except the wind and smoke- the fires started this weekend in San Diego)
Aubrey turned 6 years old! Rylee can FINALLY stop asking when we are going to Disneyland. Splash mountain was both Aubrey and Rylee's favorite ride ....i think that it's mine too:-)(Ry was just barely tall enough to ride)

we stayed saturday until monday and it was nice not to have to fight the crowds. lines were less than 30 min except Nemo which was still over 2 hours long. Aubrey was frustrated with mom and dad cause she only wanted to go on the rides that were fast and made me through up. and it looks like Rylee is going to be the same as her older sister....next time we'll have to take some cousin to go with them.

right before this picture we had a fairly serious accident. Aubrey had her hoody on and was standing on the bricks when the photographer told her to get down. she went to jump and got her hood stuck on the spokes which first scared the crap out of us to see her hanging and it also rip the skin off her underarms! :-( The nurse station was the first "ride" that we went on.

Aubrey refused to take off her banbaids but soon forgot about the hole incident--she was to busy srceeming on the materhorn--our first official ride of the trip.

The Tooth Fairy Comes Tonight

Aubrey's front tooth has been holding on for the past few days but it decided it was time to come out. Aubrey wiggled it all day and while we were eating (at the best freekin cheesecake place around--The Cheesecake Factory OF COURSE!) it decided to come out! I know that our neighbors were as happy as we were-seeing that Aubrey was holding a blood tissue all night-- so tonight the Tooth fairy Comes! CHEESE!!!...cake:-)

It's the Hoover Dam Man!

dad was here last week and we decided to see some of the wonderful views around Vegas (away from the strip) and we ended up at Hoover Dam. it was actually very cool, we took the tour and even the girls had a good time. (interesting facts)....did you know that only96 people died when they built the dam? and that no one is buried alive? also if you rub the feet of this thing with wings (i'm sure it has a name but I can't remember) you will receive good luck....interesting.

Aubrey's first day of school

OK so her first day was really on August 27th but I just uploaded these photos today so there ya go....... We are so close that we walk to school everyday. However, Aubrey HATES wearing shoes that she "can't wiggle" her toes - hence the flip-flops that I brought for her to walk home in:-)

Trip to Utah

Our last trip to Utah.
We haven't seen Grandpa Tony for a few years and it was nice to visit with him and Silvia for the weekend. They flew from Northern Cal (which is a rare occasion for Tony to fly...he hates it!)

Here at Anthony's house with Jake, Rylee, Aubrey, Anthony, Elli, Anthony, Tony, Aaron, Andrew and Aunt Nicole. It was great seeing everyone!

DISNEYLAND!!!

We went to Disneyland the week of the 4th of July. Just took Aub's this time.

Aubrey loved being alone but HATED the 95 degree weather....so HOT! Plus the lines were crazy long. Nemo just opened last month and the line was over 3 freekin hours!!! Maybe we'll go on it next time.
We will be coming back in October-nice having annual passes and living so close- for Aubrey's birthday.

Poor Rylee stayed at the beach house with Grand ma and missed out and so now every morning she wakes up saying "yea, we're going to Disneyland today," urgh...

The FAM

Many years have gone without us getting a family photo. We took this 5 min for home in Orem. Aubrey is 5 and Rylee is 3 now. Jake hates this picture, though, cause it looks like he is going bald. And has since then started growing out his hair which is already past his ears! What a good looking Fam!

First Blog! August 18, 2007

Well it's official I have a blog! Never thought I would post a blog but Sheryl, you inspired me.

Life here in Vegas has been certainly interesting. We have made allot of new friends and have had many fun experiences while living here.

The girls love swimming almost everyday (it's the only way to keep cool during the summer) and many trips home and to the beach has kept us busy this summer. Our yearly trip to Newport was so fun as it always is. The girls played in the sand, water, and at Disneyland.
