So my poor sister-in-law has morning sickness. And she sent me this video explaining what she's feeling. I was laughing out loud, seriously so funny.

Anniversary Weekend

so OF COURSE i forgot the camera so i have no documentation but i figure i can read this later and remember (hopefully) what an incredible weekend we had.

we decided to go to sundance for dinner (a MUST if you've never been there). then we drove up to midway where we stayed at the Zermatt resort (thanks Sheryl for the idea!) it was late when we arrived, after 10. so we stayed in and the next morning got ready for a fun filled day.

we started out with a very yummy buffet at the restaurant at the resort. then we went to Park City and fought with the crazy crowds for my old navy jeans! insane.

then we went WHITE WATER RIVER RAFTING! this was the highlight of the day. we had a blast throwing water on all the passer byers and throwing each other over board. it was nice and freezing but it was a hot day and it felt so good.

this took most of the day and it was dinner time when we got back. dinner at the same restaurant so delicioso!

we went on a walk to the crater and saw 3 large deer 20 feet away (jake was very nervous that they would attack but they must be used to people cause they didn't even flinch) the crater is a toasty 97 degree and is 65 feet deep.

after we walked to a concert on the lawns of the Homestead. it was so romantic and was the perfect temperature.

next we spent so time in the spa -to help my dislocated hip (long story), arugh- very painful- and then got some gelato at the shops. this was my first experience with gelato but i'm sorry to say i don't understand all the hype. i would have rather had some sorbet. sorry all you gelato fans.

well that about raps up the weekend-except the behind closed doors part, of course, hehe.

really pissed that i forgot my camera though... oh well.:0)

It's OUR Anniversary

10 WONDERFUL YEARS!

we haven't changed at all, ha.

jake and i met when we were still teenagers (i picked him up at the mall and gave him a ride home in my convertible in the middle of november with the top down, crazy kids we were). we dated for 3 years and i knew that i could not love anyone more. we were married August 22 1998 at the bungalow.

groomsmen were jp lewis, ryan angus, and sam lewis
jakes father also flew out from northern ca for the wedding (this was his first flight and we were so happy to have him there)

all my family was there including my mom's mom from pasadena and my dad's parents from ky
all of jakes family including friends mike and rob (rob should have been in the wedding!)

AuBrey first day of SCHOoL

Sunday night Aubrey couldn't sleep very well she kept coming out of her room saying that she wasn't able to sleep cause she was nervous about school the next morning. She is starting first grade and is going to be going all day (whoho:-)) But we were a little hard on her and not very sympathetic- telling her to just stay in her room and she will eventually fall asleep.

Well when we went to bed this note was on our pillow.

Traslation: To Mom and Dad, School I am scared to go to school, I am going to first grade.

Oh she brakes my heart. I should have been more reassuring and comforting to her! I felt so bad.

That morning she was a little less nervous and more excited. She kept telling me that her tummy hurt meaning " I am really excited"

It's she so dang CUTE!

And Yea! She has Mrs. ROCHA!!!

Summer in Our NEW HOUSE

We bought a new house in April but didn't move into it until the end of May. I decided that the base boards needed to be redone (anyone who really knows me knows that I LOVE tall base boards!) and it toook a little longer than I expected. But having been able to spend the summer here has really been like living at a resort. Just check out this yard!


My Mom and dad came over for a BBQ and Swim. Dad shows up often to swim- and we LOVE IT- to cool down after a long hot day.

We also have Misty and Anthony Rocha fam over allot since they live just down the street (so good to be back in Utah). This is Andrew with Rylee and Aubrey.


My girls just LOVE swimming! We have been in the pool almost every single day. Heres Aubrey showoff some of her tricks.




And last here are a few pictures of our beautiful yard. It's allot of hard work, it seriously takes me a half a day every Saturday to maintain it. We'll see how long that lasts.

Breaking Dawn is Awesome!!

K- so I went to get my copy at 11:55 PM Friday night. My number was 1108 and the lady at the desk informed me that I would not have my book until 3 or 3:30. Well I decided to go home get a few hours of sleep, cause I knew that as soon as I had my book I would not be able to put it down!, and read all day Saturday:-) And I FINISHED the book early SUNDAY MORNING (Jake was so good to take the girls out to lunch, a movie, to Grammies, swimming, etc.....) This was fun to read with my two good friends Crystal and Jackie- we all started together and ended on Sunday. Of course I can't stop talking about it, I really loved it! and I can finally move on with my real life:-)

PS I can't get my new pictures to upload to my blog page ARUGH! So until I have a couple of hours to kill there will be no pictures of our new house and such, sorry.
